Whereas India had an Impressive start to their campaign with wins against Syria (2-1) and Maldives (3-0), after these victories they have looked a little out of sorts in the field. They drew against Nepal (0-0) who were thrashed by Cameroon.
On their final group round match the finalists were against each other, in this match Cameroon had an upper hand by winning the match (1-0). With this victory they have also taken a psychological advantage against India before the finals.
The match starts at 19:00 hrs IST. The key players for India will be their captain Sunil Chetri, who would like to contribute in this final game as he hasn’t been able to do much during the last two games. Subrata Pal will again be the pillar of strength for this Indian side who won the last edition due to the heroics of this great goal keeper during the shoot-outs but this time Indian fans will definitely hope that India wins the match within the stipulated 90 mins.
